Ann Celeste (Senecal) Marsh Obituary
Ann Celeste Marsh, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on December 26, 2025. Born in Marlborough on October 10, 1963, to Norman and Eleanor (Lewis) Senecal, Ann spent her life committed to her family, friends and community.
A 1982 graduate of Assabet Valley Regional High School, Ann followed her passion for art to Becker College, where she earned her degree in interior design. She possessed a "designer’s eye" that defined her professional life for decades. Whether she was helping customers during her fourteen years at Fabric Place in Framingham or serving the Leominster community for 23 years at Garipey Furniture, Ann’s expertise was always appreciated. Her talent and natural leadership saw her rise from a sales associate to General Manager at Garipey.
Ann’s greatest pride and joy was her son, Brendan Marsh, and it was with deep love she welcomed his wife, Julia (Rass), into the family. To her siblings Norma Machado, Martha Hassett, Regina Vachon and her husband Rick, Alex Senecal and his wife Reda, and Jon Senecal and his wife Anne Mattina, Ann was a constant source of warmth and connection.
Ann’s legacy of laughter and light is perhaps most felt by her nieces and nephews. She held a special bond with Rhea Machado, Aubrey Valley and her husband Ed, Kyle Vachon and his wife Seni, Chase and Jennifer Senecal, Melissa Woodall and her husband Rich, and Scott Quinn, Sean Senecal, Mark Senecal and his wife Jessica. She took equal delight in the next generation, doting on Eddie and McKenna Valley and Maddox Vachon. Ann’s presence was a gift to everyone who knew her and her passing is a profound loss to all who had the good fortune to be loved by her.
In memory of Ann, charitable donations can be made to the Ahimsa Haven Animal Shelter in Winchendon, MA and the National Alliance on Mental Illness Massachusetts.
