Audrey A. Bolieau Obituary
Audrey (Nunes) Bolieau, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on May 28, 2026, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, at the age of 89.9. Born on June 10,1936, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was raised by the loving family of John and Edna Finnerty.
Audrey’s life was defined by her quiet strength, deep faith, and boundless love for her family. She was the heart of her home—a gracious mother and grandmother who welcomed everyone to “201,” a place always filled with warmth, laughter, love, and delicious food. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved each of them deeply.
She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Ed Bolieau, until his passing in 2015. Together, they created countless memories through their shared love of travel and adventure. In 1995, they embarked on an extended cross-country trip in a camper, visiting many National Parks along the way. Their travels also took them to Nova Scotia, Colorado, Florida, and Italy, reflecting their adventurous spirit and love of exploring the world together.
Professionally, Audrey dedicated herself to helping others. She worked as an aide at a local nursing home before joining Microswitch and later retiring from Raytheon. In every role, she brought care, diligence, and the generosity of spirit that defined her life.
Audrey also had a creative soul. She found joy in painting with oils and watercolors and in sewing many cherished pieces over the years, including costumes for her children and grandchildren, her daughter’s prom dress, and even her own wedding dress. As she grew older, she enjoyed listening to music, specifically the Out of Africa soundtrack, which she called her “Heaven on Earth”, and her Friday night movie nights with her son(s). Above all, she treasured time with her grandchildren and found great happiness in feeding and caring for her family.
Audrey remained deeply spiritual and faithfully said her Rosaries, a reflection of her enduring faith.
She is survived by her children, Matthew; Mark and his wife, Kim; Dan; Jim; and Michelle Delaney and her husband, Chris. She also leaves behind her three cherished grandchildren, Christopher Delaney Jr, Allyson Delaney, and Amber Bolieau, along with relatives who will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ed Bolieau; and her sister, Joan Bonaccorsi.
Audrey’s legacy is one of generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She gave selflessly without expecting anything in return. She was the glue that held her family together—a source of strength whose quiet presence brought comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we say farewell to this remarkable woman, we remember the simple yet profound words she often shared: “All My Love.” These words, which she signed on cards and ended phone calls with, reflected the love she carried for everyone dear to her heart.
May Audrey’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her as we celebrate a life well lived and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
