Barbara E. (McSheehy) Kattany, 72, of Northborough died Thursday, December 11, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marjorie (Johnson) McSheehy and wife of James Kattany, to whom she’d been married 49 years. Barbara was predeceased by her sisters, Karen O’Leary and Christine Caron.

Besides her husband James, Barbara is survived by her daughters, Nicole Mohamed and her husband Derek of Needham and Alysia Kattany of Franklin, her grandchildren, David, Isabelle, Zachary and Lily, her sisters, Beverly McGrath, Marilyn Asare and Wida Dionne, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours for Barbara will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 10:00-11:30 at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 at the funeral home.
