Charley Bombard, 73, of Marlborough , died Saturday, July 4, 2026 with his daughter by his side at Quabin valley nursing home in Athol Ma.

Born January 14, 1953, in Hudson to Alice (Rollins) and Lincoln Bombard.

Charley found joy in the simple pleasure of life. He loved country music, dancing, gardening, and tending to his flowers, and he was happiest when he was busy working on something. Charley loved his family dearly. He was known well by people who went to the 140 Club in Sterling and the Texaco gas station in Marlborough many years ago.

He is survived by his daughter, Becki Flagg and her husband Mike, his granddaughters, Chelly Granath and Alana Flagg, his great-granddaughter, Daisy Youngblood, his brothers, Al Bombard and Willy Bombard, his nephew, Nick Rano, and his nieces Danielle Forbes and Rachel Bombard. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Linda Bombard and his niece, Melissa Rano.

A graveside service for Charley will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 am at Evergreen Cemetery, 133 Wilson Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
