Claire Condry Obituary

Claire Elizabeth (Trudeau) Condry “Snookie” died peacefully at her home on March 15, 2026 surrounded by family.  Born January 29, 1938, she was wife of the late Bernard F. Condry “Bernie” for 61 years, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Blandine (Boisse) Trudeau.

Claire was the youngest of twelve siblings, raised on the Trudeau farm on South Street in Marlborough.  She is a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy class of 1956. She and Bernie married in 1960 and raised their four children on Rice Street. Claire adored her family and cared for her home and family with great love. Whether gathered around their swimming pool, attending her annual 4th of July party, or at her kitchen table, Claire had a big heart and took great care of any visitor to their home. She was the beloved Memere of eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Claire was a devout member of the Immaculate Conception Church, where she volunteered her time as a CCD teacher when her kids were young. She took part in a number of community groups including the Marlborough Boy’s Club Mother’s Club, Marlborough Red Hat Society, and serving as an election poll worker. She took up golfing later in life and enjoyed many rounds of golf at Stonybrook Golf course with her grandkids. She and Bernie attended numerous events and trips with the Marlborough Senior Center over the years. They enjoyed many summer vacations on Cape Cod and visiting family throughout the country.

Claire is survived by her daughter Cheryl Alajajian and her husband Robert of Natick, and three sons, Michael and his wife Doreen of Upton, Patrick and his wife Edwina of Marlborough, James Condry of Westford. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Tyler and his wife Kimberly, Joshua, Meghan and her husband Zachary Lambert, Kyle, Colleen and her husband Joseph Levasseur, Julia, Nathan, and Ryan. Four great-grandchildren Nels and Claire Lambert, Eliana McLaughlin, and Layla Condry. Two sisters, Theresa Bryce of Hudson and Jaqueline Erwin of California.
