Elizabeth Cooper Obituary

Elizabeth F." Betty" (Turner) Cooper, 65, of Marlborough, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at her home. Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Pauline (Amelotte) Turner, and the wife of David Bruce Cooper, of Marlborough.

Mrs. Cooper was a 1961 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School and a longtime member of the First Church in Marlborough, Congregational, were she had been active as a religious education teacher and served on parish committees. A former instructor for Christo Driving School, she doted on her children and grandchildren, loved to shop, and enjoyed her home in Maine, where she spent many happy times with her family and "Club".

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons; Mark Cooper and his wife Candace, of Tampa, FL, Matthew Cooper and his wife Heather, of Northborough and Scott Cooper of W. Boylston, her daughter, Melissa Cromack and her husband Brian, of S. Kingstown, RI and their children, Ashley Cromack and Scott Cromack, her brother James Turner, and many close friends.
