George Joseph “Joe” DeBeaucourt, Jr., 62, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Joe is survived by his beloved son, Patrick DeBeaucourt and his significant other, Fiona Barry, and his mother, Lillian (Landers) DeBeaucourt. He was predeceased by his father, George Joseph DeBeaucourt, Sr., who passed away in 1999.

He is also survived by his five siblings: Michelle Lariviere and her husband, William, of Leominster; Danielle DeBeaucourt and her significant other, Jeffrey Wilson, of Marlborough; Patrice Rousseau and her husband, Mark, of Putnam, Connecticut; Dave DeBeaucourt and his significant other, Sunceré Frehley, of Sterling; and Monique Johnston and her husband, Evon, of Marlborough. Joe also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Joe worked for many years as a landscaper, where his appreciation for nature and the outdoors became a way of life. An avid gardener, he found joy and peace in cultivating beautiful spaces. He cherished time spent outdoors throughout New England, whether kayaking, fishing, or taking long walks with the handcrafted walking stick he proudly made himself.

Known for his generous heart, Joe never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a devoted father, a caring uncle, and a loyal friend whose kindness and compassion touched countless lives. He treasured visiting family and friends and found happiness in the simple moments spent together.

Joe had a deep love of music and rarely missed an opportunity to see his favorite local band, The Peacheaters, an Allman Brothers tribute band, perform. He took great pride in his beloved red truck, affectionately nicknamed the “Red Rocket,” and always enjoyed talking about his latest adventures behind the wheel.

On many Saturday evenings, you could find Joe gathered around a neighbor’s fire pit, sharing stories, laughter, and friendship. His infectious sense of humor, easygoing nature, and genuine appreciation for life made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.

Perhaps most of all, Joe had a special gift with children. Young at heart, he possessed a playful spirit that made children of all ages feel comfortable, welcomed, and loved. They were naturally drawn to his warmth, kindness, and joyful outlook on life.

Joe will be remembered for his generous spirit, his unwavering love for family and friends, and his ability to find beauty and joy in everyday moments. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Visiting hours for Joe will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A private burial for Joe will be held at a later date.
