George Robert Slattery, 85, of South Boston, died Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA.
He was the son of the late George and Helen (Duggan) Slattery and husband of the late Caroline (Howard) Slattery who died in 2012. He was predeceased by his brother, James Slattery and his sister, Eleanor Adams.
He is survived by his daughter, Patty Saman and her husband Sarmad of Marlborough, MA, his son, Michael Slattery and his wife Amanda of Knoxville, TN, his grandchildren, Kaitlin Slattery, Nicholas Saman and Natalie Humphrey as well as his niece, Karen Adams-Barrientos.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough, MA.
