Gertrude M. Scott

Gertrude M. (Simoneau) Scott, 88, formerly of Marlborough and Harwich, died Fri. Aug. 28, at St. Patrick's Manor, Framingham.Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Alexina (Martel) Simoneau and the step daughter of the late Leonile (Bouvier) Simoneau. She was the wife of the late Arthur Scott, who died in 2008.Mrs. Scott had been employed as an inspector for the Fenwal Corp. Ashland. A graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1939, she had been a Marlborough resident until moving to Harwich in 1984.Mrs. Scott, had been a member of the former St. Mary's Parish, Marlborough, had traveled extensively, was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed crafting stained glass items and square dancing. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Paul and Denise Scott, of Marlborough, her daughters and sons in law, Sandra and Louis Kulaga, Jr., of Clinton, Jean and Stephen Ajemian, of Trappe, PA, and Christine and M. Kent Knudson, of Sioux City, Iowa. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
