John A. Desjardins, of Northboro, Massachusetts, passed away, unexpectedly on November 16, 2025, in his Marlborough at the age of 64.

Born on August 8, 1961, in Marlborough, John remained connected to the community throughout his life. He graduated from Assabet Valley Technical High School in 1979 with a focus in Carpentry, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of craftsmanship and precision. He later earned an Associate’s Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University, further expanding his technical expertise.

John dedicated many years of his professional life to Quality Assurance, first at Dav-Tech Plating and more recently at Spectrum Control. His work reflected a commitment to excellence and attention to detail that was evident in all aspects of his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Danielle Sibilio, her husband Michael, and their sons Colin and Landon of Hudson. John also shared a meaningful partnership with Laurie Deveaux of Northboro. He is survived by his sister Mary Brown and her husband Jerry of Stow; his brother Donald Desjardins and his wife Jill of Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will carry forward fond memories of him.

John was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Frances Desjardins of Marlborough; his sister Theresa Prior of Blackstone; and his brother Michael Desjardins of Marlborough.

A man who found joy in simple pleasures, John had a deep love for 70s music that often filled the spaces he occupied with warmth and nostalgia. He enjoyed time on the golf course with family and friends, and cherished visits to warm-weather destinations—especially Old Orchard Beach—which held a special place in his heart. Yet perhaps most dear to him was the comfort of home, where he found peace and contentment.
