John Joseph Nardi, 92, of Marlborough died Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home with loved ones present.

He was the son of the late Erminio and Rose Nardi and brother to the late Anthony. Husband of the late Priscilla Nardi to whom he’d been married 63 years.

John is survived by his sons Christopher, Matthew and Mark and wife Diane and two grandchildren Jack and Emma Rose.

Born in Everett, MA, John served his country during the Korean conflict and then went on to Boston University to earn his bachelor's and two master's degrees in music and music education.  It is there where he met Priscilla.

For over 30 years, he was a music educator in the Needham Schools, and always found time for his woodworking hobby which produced multiple pieces of handcrafted furniture and a full addition to his Needham home.  His wit and sense of humor will be remembered fondly.

John’s family wishes to thank all of his caregivers for their love and endless hours of support which provided him dignity and comfort in his own home. 

A funeral Mass for John will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:30 at St. Bernadette’s Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532.
