Joseph McCluskey, of Marlborough, died Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the River Terrace Healthcare Center in Lancaster, MA after a brief illness. He was pre-deceased by his wife of fifty-two years, Jean (Jaworek). Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Joseph and Betty McCluskey. He graduated from Worcester Academy and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston. He was a longtime pharmacist for Brooks Drug in Hudson, MA and coach for Marlborough youth baseball and soccer. He is survived by his son Joseph McCluskey, III and wife Suzi of Agoura Hills, CA; his son Michael and partner Jared Welch of Marlborough, MA; and his son Peter and wife Lisa of Washington, DC. He is also survived by his grandsons Peter, Philip, Samuel, Joseph and Hamilton and by his sister-in-law Peggy Klimaski.

Calling hours are from 8:30 - 9:15 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough MA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, at St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA 01752. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.
