Lorena “Lorrie” (LaBrache) Papile of Marlborough passed away surrounded by her family on March 17, 2023 after a period of failing health. Lorrie graduated from Marlborough High School in 1959 and began work at the Marlborough District Court as a temp and vacation help, and retired 43 years later.

She was the wife of Louis Papile, Sr. who pre-deceased her on March 17, 2019. She was also pre-deceased by her daughter Deborah Papile and her dearest friend and sister Marsha Page.

Lorrie was born in Marlborough to the late Charles and Blanche (Wier) LaBrache, and the step-daughter of Rachel Keys LaBrache.

She is survived by her son Louis Papile, Jr. and his wife Linda of Marlborough, and her grandchildren Natasha Papile of Connecticut, Catherine Papile of Connecticut, Christen Papile of Marlborough, Emily Papile and her husband Joseph Kivlehan-Papile of Marlborough, Sarah Papile-Hayes and her husband Sean Hayes of Marlborough, Michael Otte and his wife Bethany Avila Otte of Beverly, Mary Stefanski of Marlborough, and her two great-grandchildren Madison Balvin of Marlborough, and Theodore Papile of Marlborough. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Nelson of Marlborough, her brother Chuck LaBrache, III of Sudbury, and brother in-law Bob Page of Northborough.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 10:30AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough, MA 01752.
