Lorraine M. (Buisson) Lesieur

Lorraine M. (Buisson) Lesieur of Marlboro passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, just one week shy of her 95th Birthday. She was married to the late Paul R. Lesieur (d. 2004) for 50 years and is survived by her 5 children: Jeanine A. Penzo and her husband Michael of Plymouth; Michelle D. Darling and her husband Roger of Marlboro, Suzanne M. Pomerleau of Shrewsbury, Paul J. Lesieur and his wife Marianne of Oxford, and Robert W. Lesieur and his partner Pam Dionne of West Bridgewater. 

Lorraine cherished every moment with her 17 grandchildren: Stephanie, Danielle, Renee, Melissa, Kristen, Katharine, Jonathan, Jackie, Christine, Zachary, Michael, Michaella, Dominique, Richard, Corey, Adrienne, and Bernadette and with her 17 great-grandchildren.

Lorraine graduated from St. Anne's academy in 1949 and worked for the First National Bank in Marlboro until she and Paul started their family. She went on to provide day care and after school care for children out of her home and later worked in food services at Digital and The Learning Education Center in Marlboro before her retirement.

Lorraine was an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Mary's Church in Marlboro until it closed, then St. Bernadette's Church in Northboro as well as the Chapel at New Horizons in Marlboro. She also found time to volunteer as a Girl Scout leader, soccer mom, and was well known for the baked goods she made from scratch for parties, socials, bake sales, and anyone who needed a treat.

Visiting hours for Lorraine will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00-7:00pm at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Beach Street, Marlborough, MA.
