Maria E. (Dutchka) Bouvier, 55 of Marlborough died Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Wingate at Sudbury after enduring an illness of many years.
Born in Marlborough and a lifelong resident she was the daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Letteire) Dutchka and the wife of Alan M. Bouvier Sr of Marlborough.
Mrs. Bouvier graduated from Marlborough High School in 1971. She then studied at Blaine Beauty Academy, Worcester and worked for several years in local salons.
She had been employed by Facilities Management Corp, as the manager of the Navin Skating Rink in Marlborough prior to her illness.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Alan M. Bouvier Jr., of Hudson and Bradley Bouvier of Littleton, her daughter, Kelly Gosson and her husband James of Littleton, her brother Anthony Dutchka of Marlborough, her sister Anna Clark of Marlborough, her granddaughters, Emily Maria and Brianna Marissa Gosson, her aunt Jean Dutchka of Hyannis, with whom she had a special closeness, and many other aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and family members.
