Marie "Mary" Jeanne Luz

Marie Jeanne "Mary" (Desjardins) Luz, 95 of Marlborough died Sunday, October 4, 209 at St. Patrick's Manor, Framingham, where she had been a resident for a short time.

Born in Marlborough and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Zenon and Eugenie (Cloutier) Desjardins, and the wife of the late Anthony Luz who died in 1997.

She had been employed as the manager of the food service system at th Jaworek School, Marlborough retiring in 1977. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Parish and choir, Our Lady of the Assumption Guild, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Marlborough Sr. Citizens.

She is survived by her son James Luz and his wife Jean of Poland, NY, her daughter, Suzanne Bemis of Marlborough, her son in law, John Carroll of Detroit, MI, her sisters Marguerite Buisson of Marlborough and Theresa Dupree of Hudson, her grandchildren, Natalie Bemis, Jeffrey Bemis and his wife Elaine, Amy Watson and her husband James, Emily Luz Pino and her husband Jorge, Aaron Luz and Anthony Luz, Michelle Mahoney and her husband Joe and Meghan Kelly and her husband David, 8 great-granchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Frances Carroll and sister of the late Professor Lucien Desjardins, Gertrude Marsan Leona Desjardins and Medeleine Koziara.
