Mary E. (Howley) Doherty

Mary Doherty, formerly of Marlboro MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023. 

She was a resident at The Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood, MA, and she was 93 years old. 

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her surviving family – daughter Kathleen and husband Joe Prior of Bradenton FL, granddaughter Krysti and husband Jeff Hoisington of West Boylston, and great grandchildren Lila, Chloe, Samuel, and Jacob Hoisington. 

She lived a full and active life for a long time.  A very strong and independent woman, full of vigor and vitality, loving her friends, her Bingo games, and trips to Aruba.  She worked for many years as a waitress at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA, retiring from the Inn 30 years ago.  Now, we wish for her a peaceful rest.

Funeral services will be private.
