Mary A. (Colucci) Mabie

Mary A. (Colucci) Mabie, 97, of Marlborough, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Coleman House in Northborough, MA.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Noonan) Colucci and wife of the late Reginald O. Mabie who died in 2019. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Carlene Intoppa and Dorothy Henry.

Mary worked as a registered nurse at Cambridge City Hospital for several years. She was an avid Red Sox fan and liked to spend her time reading. Mary was easily liked by people and made many friends. She will be most remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Mary is survived by her son, Charles Gottwald and his wife Edna, of Hudson, MA, her daughter, Marianne Brooks and her husband Daniel, of Broken Arrow, OK and her grandchildren, Matthew Gottwald, Jessica Brooks and Kevin Gottwald as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 9:30 -10:30 AM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, 11 Cordaville Rd., Southborough, MA 01772.
