Nancy V. ( Dimino) Waites, 88, of Winthrop, died Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Mass General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Lillian (Cuilla) Dimino and the wife of the late Loyd H. Waites and mother of the late Michael A Waites. She had been employed as an accounting clerk for the former Filene’s Department Store in Boston.
Nancy is survived by her sister Anna Miele of Dedham, MA; her son Christopher P Waites of East Boston, MA and his two brothers, her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 320 Winthrop Street, Winthrop, MA 02152.
Burial will follow at Winthrop Cemetery, Cross Street, Winthrop, MA 02152
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752.
