Pauline Theresa (Entwistle) Figueroa passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026 after a very brief illness. She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Felix “Phil” Figueroa, whom she was married to for 57 years. She was also predeceased by her brother, Leo G. Entwistle and their parents Leo and Anne (Gibbons) Entwistle.
She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Julia Figueroa of Framingham and Colleen and Michael Blackett of Utah and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Mendel and his wife Flo, Sam, Abby and Toby Weisenberg and their father, Saadia Weisenberg. She is also survived by her nieces, Janet Freiheit and Linda McNamara, and her first cousins, Winnie Coleman and Cathy Kennedy and their families.
The daughter of an Irish immigrant, she grew up in South Boston and attended the Gate of Heaven Parochial School where she was voted Queen of her senior prom. She met her husband in the corporate offices of Stop & Shop in Boston and devoted her life to being the best wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. Her greatest achievement and joy however, was being an absolutely amazing grandmother who delighted in helping to raise and spoil her four grandchildren.
Visiting hours for Pauline will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 133 Wilson Street, Marlborough.
