Shirley T. (Simoneau) Perry, 92 passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough after a long hard battle with Dementia. She was the wife of the late Joseph Perry who predeceased her in 1991. She leaves her son, Robert and his wife Maureen of Shrewsbury, her granddaughter, Kristina Reidy and husband Ron and their children Julie, James, and Robert of Worcester. She also leaves her grandson, Michael Perry of San Diego, California.
Shirley grew up in Marlborough with her parents, Francis and Edna Simoneau and her sister, Rita Stanhope. She worked several years at the Hudson Town Hall as an administrator and held other administrative jobs within the Hudson/Marlborough area. Upon her retirement she lived with her late husband Joe in Berlin. They both enjoyed traveling and most especially enjoyed time spent with their family.
We would like to thank the entire staff at Beaumont for their care and compassion and a special thank you to their wonderful hospice staff.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA. followed by a prayer service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
